For the best accommodation option when in Taveta, Challa Hotel is the excellent-value. Situated in the heart of Taveta Town, we have a range of 30 good self contained rooms around an internal courtyard which offer clean and comfortable accommodation ranging from VIP suite that has a separate living room with a seven seater sofa set, 21” TV, fridge, king size bed, bath tub and shower. The executive rooms consist of Queensize bed and TV while the standard rooms consist of singles and doubles.

Challa Hotel also has five African Styled cottages with thatched makuti roofs, which offer an alternative from conventional accommodation. These cottages are spacious and cool and are set in a beautiful garden in a quiet corner of the hotel compound.

The hotel offers conference facilities and has a hall that can accommodate up to 200 participants and comes equipped with a projector, public address system, flip chart and writing materials.

The Tsavo restaurant serves delicious meals and buffets made on order and to you specification. The Challa whole fish comes highly recommended.

The beer garden within the  hotel offers a perfect place for that cold beer at the end of the day or on weekends as you watch live the English Premier League games on DSTV.

Club Tango offers great music and DJ Mixes and is Taveta’s Premier night spot where you can dance the night away under the mirrorball or simply enjoy nyama choma in the lush gardens.

We host the council’s Melhus partners everytime they jet in the country.
