NEW TAVETA

The Council has completed the acquisition of 2000 acres of land that will facilitate the expansion of the urban area to transform Taveta to a modern and regional commercial city.



The acquired land has created the greatest excitement and the plans are grand. The recent visit by the chairman and the town clerk to Windhoek Nambia has opened the eyes of both to the paradise of a well planned city. They intend to bring well thought out plan that will spur investment and economic growth. They agree that the responsibility is huge but they promise not to sleep until all the plans are a success.
