Tsavo West National Park – Kenya

THE LOCATION

Severin Safari Camp is located in Tsavo West National Park, the largest game reserve in East Africa, approximately 250 kilometers from Mombasa and Nairobi. from Mtito Andei Gate, it is a 40 minutes drive to the camp. There is an air strip situated 25 minutes away from the camp, ideal for air safaris. The remote property is unfenced allowing wildlife to cross the floodlit waterholes. Maasai warriors provide for your safety around  the clock, and further represent the harmony at Severin Safari camps between humanity and nature.

BANDAS, TENTS AND SUITES

Friendly service and comfort await you at camp in the middle of the African wilderness. The TUV Rhineland in Germany, an internationally well-known certification company, awarded the camp for its first-class service performance and its SPA quality.
The camp offers 27 luxurious accommodations and 8 bandas for self-catering spread over 25 hectares of bush land.

Bandas

The eight self-catering Bandas for an authentic African experience equipped with ready to use kitchenette, own bathroom and beds with mosquito nets. From the roofed patio guests have a direct view on their private fireplace.

Tents

All the 21 octagon tents are equipped with running hot and cold water, shower, separate toilet with bidet, comfortable beds with mosquito nets and a private terrace. Each tent provides 220V electricity, a SEVERIN hairdryer and a safe.

Junior Suites

The four stonewalled junior suites have a separate lounge, a sun deck with sun beds and a private courtyard with outdoor shower. The junior suites, called Mzima Springs, Roaring Rocks, Chyulu Hills and Shetani Cave have spacious naturally lit bathrooms and provide a double hand washbasin. Coffee and tea making facilities, first fill of mini bar and butler service are inclusive.

Suites

The look-out decks of the roomy Kibo and Mawenzi suites offer a splendid view of Mount Kilimanjaro and the expanse of the savannah. Equipped with a semicircular bath tub and connected to a second tent, the suites are also perfect for families. Coffee and tea making facilities, first fill of mini bar and butler service are inclusive.


BARAZA CONFERENCE TENT

The 80 sq metres conference tent is suitable for up to 30 persons with various seating lay outs and equipped with modern communication and presentation techniques. In the whole camp, we offer fire wireless Lan. The ideal location for executive bush meeting amid the African wilderness. An open air terrace is available for coffee breaks and informal gatherings. Meeting with the residents on upgrading of Majengo, Chachewa and Bahati area

Meeting on upgrading of Majengo, chachewa and Bahati villages with the residents are going on and on 5th July, 2011 the management held a meeting with the residents of Majengo to sensitize them on the upgrading and the cost effect of the upgrade.

On the meeting was the Town Clerk of Taveta Town Council.

Annual General Meeting 2011/2012

The Annual General Meeting of the Town Council of Taveta was held on 6th July, 2011 under the presiding of the Town Clerk Mr. S. M. Rashid and the Taveta D.C. in attendance.

In the Meeting elections were also held and results were as follows:
